I saw this aptly named truck along my walk this week....

dogs and cats seen on walks

this mini godendoodle was so charming...

then a cat came out of nowhere to chirp at us walking by

It did not linger, but might have if I'd asked it to... It went a few paces ahead, sat down and turned back to give me such a look!!! I rarely see cats... have allergic symptoms if I pet them but love them....

I am writing this post on Tuesday in case I can get into Chiro.... but it's been hot here, but luckily it might still be snowing in the high mountains. Going for a morning walk in CO shouldn't mean pulling off your jacket, then your sweater...

do you decorate with traditional things year after year? what are they and can you show us? has there been a year when you didn't feel like dragging out the decorations and how did you handle that?

Like most people I have traditional things, certain Quilts I always display, and if the year is like this one, very few come out....because anything that comes out will have to be put away ...

welcome to this week's list of likes starting with snow covered mountains and a lovely visit with this horse

snow's melted now, we are having sunny days in the mid 70's instead of cold and snow. I HATE this.

Reports say it's now the trend, due to climate change, luckily I met a nice couple on a walk this week and they moved here for cold too, he said they'll be moving out because this is due to climate change and and they like cold too. It was a blessing that they weren't science ...

i like Thursday # 482 snow, stress, holidays from Not Afraid of Color

welcome to this week's list of likes.... I like cold temps and snow, therefore we moved to Colorado... not it's about to be in the 70's in the sun for over a week here.

In December. 5 years ago it was consistently cold and snowy from October on.

We did have a bit of snow...

footprints in the thin layer over the golf course. That became snow lace

and annoying icy snow

and is gone less than a week later now. We MAY have to get out the AC again too.

on our walks this week we explored another 'hood and they had a nature area... old, unspoiled, quiet,

reminded me of Florida preserves... we stood for a long while, just breathing in and out, letting our eyes drift and our brains take a break

some homes were built along the preserve, and we thought that might be nice

On this day we met a woman walking her daughter's dog... and chatted for a few minutes, a perfectly lovely conversation!

I Like Thursday # 469 mums the word, ballroom dance, and broken sidewalks from Not Afraid of Color

time for another list of likes for this week, mid-September. I love mums in the autumn so DH got three small pots for me. I can see them through my wildflowers on tall stems, that dance like ballerinas in the wind here.

welcome to this week's list of likes starting with a flower parade! This clump of sunny golden yellow flowers caught my eye on a walk this week

the temps were a bit more moderate but the humidity was higher than I've ever known it to be in Colorado

making morning walks uncomfortable in the intense sunshine but, I LIKE to walk and be outside. Come with me won't you? another neighbor has a gorgeous floral covered yard, and this is not a bouquet....
